Before I get into the meat of my review, I have to start by saying that this was a heck of a lot of fun!
Alright, now that's out of the way, let me begin. Sweetbox is a wacky, very left-field sandbox adventure game where you really can just wander around and do as you please... within reason, of course. There's no fighting to be found here so don't expect swords and level grinding, it's all about the character interactions and the exploring.
From the get-go, you can have a chat with the people living in this forgotten town and start grabbing yourself some side-quests. The crux of the whole game though comes down to one strange chap in a cabin on the outskirts of town who rants about coins. There are special coins scattered around the map, which can be obtained in many different ways, and that seems to be the main aim of this game.
However, the fun lies within the finding of the coins moreso than the aftermath, and getting to do all of the fun stuff in-between like foraging for mushrooms and starfish, mining (kind of, anyway), buying a corn farm and just enjoying the kooky characters really is the heart of game.
So grab Sweetbox and go on a weird little journey all of your own! (Just don't try to talk to the mushroom forager, he's really not up for a chat).
Glad you enjoyed it! I watched your video and laughed a couple of times :) Small hint: You can actually pick up two types of rocks in those caves (grey and brownish coloured ones). The brown rocks can be put into the machine at the foundry.

music mockingly compresses comical atmosphere in seaside island town
collection progressing uncertain ending if the end is to sleep
wandering finding locations graphics bygone era festering
fantasy gimmick from experience pleasing cash money falling
the cinema film movie required a second viewing to destress.
while I like the idea behind this game, the perfomance is really bad and I can't enjoy it

So far I've found 5 of the coins:
In the farm
From the guy in the movie theater
From guy looking for the caves
From the guy in the foundry
From the safe
I can not find the 6th coin, could i get a hint for its location?
P.S. The game is great, love the graphics. The wilderness reminds me of King's Field.
Have you searched inside one of the 3 caves? There should be a dead corpse with a coin right next to it.
I've only found 2 caves, i'll look for the 3rd one.
Thank you.
Had loads of fun playing this, but was surprised by the length of it (maybe I'm just slow lmao). Looking forward to playing some more of it.
