In this short interactive story you are witnessing the daily struggles of Nikolaj, an aspiring writer, who hopes to create the next bestseller. Will he succeed? Or will he fail miserably? YOU DECIDE!
This game is rather short (can be easily completed in 10 minutes). Throughout the game you are given choices and/or have to complete mini games in order to proceed. What kind of choices you make will lead you down different paths and endings. Dialogue boxes / speech bubbles can be skipped by pressing the mouse button (for those of you who are rather impatient ). Escape key ends the game.

the psychobabble tale of a man forced to live as a poet without a cause simply because he felt the need to express his views for monetary gains in a world which did not respect his thoughts formed in adventure game style as we progress through several possible endings thus returning repeats to find the true meanings

** i may also note, ive played all of your games on GNU/Linux using steam proton (wine) to play windows versions of the games... so, maybe you would explore releasing Linux versions in the future? Unity & AGS both support linux exports.

what an awesome, weird, funny game. I got the good ending and I got one (of more?) failure endings. Really liked it a lot. It felt very...surreal/satire especially with the art and writing combined.

A little hint: There's one good ending and three bad ones (two deaths + the one where he's begging for money at the subway). I even believe there's a video on youtube (on the main itch.io channel) with all the endings, should you be curious.

I like the artwork. You almost exactly captured the DOS version of "The King Of Chicago"s design.
Thank you and yes, the dos version of "King of Chicago" was a huge part of what inspired me to create such a game (there's also the "original" King of Chicago version with the clay figures, which looks interesting in it's own way :-) ).
