The Sunday Museum
A downloadable game for Windows
This little "retro" experimental game lets you explore a small museum, called "The Sunday Museum". You can walk around and interact with either the signs or tv sets in each room.
There's a little bit more to this game, but I'll just let some art critic describe it: "The Sunday Museum is a game that socialises self-ironic assembles from various pregnant and megalomaniac outputs. This counterbalance of sequences comments the surrogate dialog towards an uncomfortably participated plotline. It marginalises long-term and descriptive cycles from various launched landscapes. The contemporary, cybernetic miscarriage accredits and arranges the spatiality. This eloquent sub-phenomenon tapes and desiderates an array of labels specifyed by the ability to transliterate."

Is there a code in the "mask" tv?
No, it's just a bunch of random numbers/letters :-)
fascination tales explained purveying infrastructure
contemplative expression shared as reality medium integrates
outside a change features tension the stiffness air dwindles
ethereal world faces appear visions with scintillation
Exactly! :-)
Quite unique. I wasn't smart enough to figure out what was going on lol but it was enjoyable and cool nonetheless ^^
Thank you very much! :-)
I loved just exploring the museum so the fact that there was more was such a nice surprise :)
Thank you! :-D
this was possibly the most unsettling experience I’ve had in a while now. Also I just breached 500 subs! You should sub too!!!
Never Stay Past Open Hours... | The Sunday Museum
Thank you very much! :-)
Thank you! :-)
The game was a pretty cool experience.
Btw, here is my video. I'm a random brazilian guy who likes to play indie horror games (gameplay in portuguese). Thanks for the game and oppportunity!
No problem! Thank you! :-)
7/10. I liked the game aspect but in terms of "spookyness," didn't really get there. Overall cool game though!
Thank you! :-)
Has a nice twist to it
And what a nice twist it is, indeed! :)
This was so calm at first and just took a turn! I love it!
Thank you!
No problem!
Short but pretty good. Liked how the graphics looked and felt. Made a video on it.
Thank you very much! :-)
Thank you! It's kinda a humbling experience that so many people are making videos about it :-)
is there any hidden areas??
No, there aren't any in this one :-) The only areas are the museum, the small street section, the rundown shop, the narrow back alley, the abandoned building with the mattress on the floor and then the corkscrew hallway with the final room.
Thank you! No, no big reason regarding the name change, I just thought that the old one didn't sound as great anymore. And yes, this game is "sort of" a remake of the Midnight Art Show :-)
Want to say I enjoyed it the horror game that it was a calm small and easy horror game it didn't have me screaming my lungs out really loved it !!!!!
Thank you! I'm also a big fan of the type of horror that slowly builds up (instead of constant jumpscares).
Nice game
Thanks! :-)

Thank you! :-)
no problem
creapy game. i love last video on tv. great game
Thank you! :-)
Any thoughts on expanding this project into a full game?
Funny you should say that, because this game was "kinda" a remake of one of my earlier games, called "The Midnight Art Show". Although THIS project is done, I'm thinking about incorporating some aspects of it into my next game, so stay tuned! :-)
if i can help in any way artistically or story-wise, let me know!
That Game Was Awesome...

One of he creepiest museams I've ever visited. Great job at creating a unique experience.
Thank you :)
Comments below clip;
I've wandered a lot through museums around the globe, but never lost the plot. I <3 the story line, as it was told to me through distorted TV/video clips. Short, but nicely done, guys. Big thumbs up.Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
@ Sunshine Error,
Thank you guys for making it! I/we would be lost without you guys.
Hello, I played this game and I liked it, the concept was neat, good work :)
Thank you! :)
Thanks! :-)
Very interesting to read documents and explore places. The last part was scary, but I still keep going. Great game!
Thank you! :-)
So what is this game about?
The game was (more or less) an excuse to get myself out of the everyday rut and do something creative again. No deeper meaning etc... although it is interesting to see people try to give it some meaning. :-)
Thank you! Good to hear that you enjoyed it! :)
really cool game and a great concept led to some great reactions good job dev
Thank you very much! :)
I couldn't understand much of the prompts in the museum lol, maybe that was part of the point? I did like all of the short creepy movies on the TVs and the building at the end.
Yep, all the descriptions in the museum were made to sound intentionally artsy-fartsy :-) Thank you for playing!
Awesome experience. Nice atmosphere and plot.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
